The Rescue Lodge of Good Templars met on .Tuesday evening in the Oddfellows' Hall, ,>. lng r strect - Bro. H. Sincook (Oiuef Templar) presided over a good attendance ol members and visitors. ' The Young Templars' League Committee reported on its wort, and .stated that already 50 young people had joined, and others were coming in. The sisters provided refreshments, and the following contributed to the programme:—-Bro. H. Sincock, Bro. M Anderson, Sister Sharpe, and Bro. A. Gibson. The vote of thanks to the visitors was responded to by a brother from the Hope of Dunedin Lodge. The Palmcrston Glee Club travelled to the sanatorium on Tuesday evening, and rendered a first-class entertainment under the baton of the Rev. E. Streete. It took nine cars to transport the 30 members wht/ took part. The lady minstrels and Japanese scenes were well received. Dr Lyth thanked Air Strrpfe for organising the entertainment, winch was appreciated by aIL Mr bireetc replied on behalf of the club. '
