RAVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB.
— -e» ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting- of the Kavensbourno Boating Club was held last night. Cwnmodore Moller presided over a good attendance. In moving tlie adoption of the reroort tho chairman congratulated members " on' the progress marie during the past year \o racing had taken place, yet tho shed and club were m oxoellent condition. Most of the yachtsmen, had left tho district but now that tho boys were back from the war no doubt that part of tho sport would proTess again. ■ . ° The balance sheet showed that tho finances had improved by some £20 . during tho year, tho club had money invested in wnr loans also and some £130 had been paid out altogether to the Newspaper and Tobacco Fund for tho men at the front. Both reports wore adopted. Several new members wer o elected, and tlio following office-bearers .were appointee! for the ensuing year: —Commodore. Mr H K Moller: vico-commodores—Messrs T Harridge, J. M'Pherson, W. J. P. M'Cullooh, I. Young; captain, Mr E. Leach- de-puty-captain, Mr It. Ilutton ; secretary' and treasurer, Mr D. Cameron: delegates to tho Yacht and Motor Boat Club—Messrs T3 Cameron and V. Leach; delegate to the v.A.A.P. Society, Mr D. Cameron : Sailing Coitmuttoo—Messrs Harridge. M'Pherson" and Leach: auditors. Mossrs Batr'ev nnri Kix; caretaker. Mr M. Hiitten. Mr J. Blaekic was elected a Hfo member of tho club. The matters of tho coding day and of club races wero left to tho incoming comnuttee. te Messrs M'Plierson. Leach, and Hanridi?e woj-o appointed to meet deJogatcs of the Otapro Ynrht Club to_discuss tho mattrT of ono-design ya<Jjte for the Ota.go Harbour Votes of thanks wore accorded the retiring officers.
