(Received Sept. 9, at 9.40 p.m.) Mrs Cox, wife of a retired railway fettler, was found at her home at Auburn with her head battered with a hammer. She subsequently succumbed at the hos-' pital. Her husband was found dead in another room with his throat cut. The police report that the couplo were constantly quarrelling.
