. Large audiences attended all eessione at tho King Edward Theatre on Saturday, and unfeigned delight was expressed by tho young folks in particular at the admirable entertainment on otTor. "The Better '010 " was screened in the afternoon, and a spy drama, entitled "Tho Sr-eret Code," at niplit. In addition, tho second episode pf "The Fighting Trail" was also Known. JLhe two Inst-montioned pictures will bo Kcroeiwfl aguin to-night. Gladys Rrockwell is at present appearing in a picture entitled " ITer One Mistake" at tho Plaza Theatre. The picture is one which has been commanding a great deal of favourable nttontion, nnd, with its cxcelent supports, it provides an admirable entertainment. . Tho management announces that in tho near future some pictures of very special interest will be shown at this theatre.
Tho programme to ho shown at tho Queen's to-day has as its headline attraction an exciting story of the machinations of Hun spies in America during the war. Gloria Swiiiison and J. Bnrnpy Sherry portray the premier roles, and tho plot is said to lv> brimful of excitement. The second instalment of "The Fighting Trail" is nlsD shown. The Queen's will change tomorrow. A Knlondid ecroeri dramn. entitled "The Man From Funeral Range" oecirnics prideof place among the -nictiircs constituting the persent. programme at the Empire Theatre. The picture is bised on Ernost Wflkcs's play, and deals with the adventures of n man -who is eventually made an outlaw through the schemes of a couple of villains.
