CHANGES AMONG OFFICERS. [APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED. The following appointments, promotions, and transfers of officers on activo service with tho Now Zealand Expeditionary Forco Jμvc received approval:— AUCKLAND REGIMENT. Second Lieutenant E. Gould, discharged in England, is struck off tho strength of tho N.Z.EJT. (Japtaui S. T. Seddon, M.C., census to bo seconded for special service. Major J. T. Watson, 0.8. E., to bo D.A.Q.M.G. (B.), N.Z.E.F. " Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) S. D. Rice, M.M., returning to Now Zealand for demobilisation, relinquishes tho appointment of quartermaster, 2nd Battalion, but retains the tomporary rank of captain. Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) 11. L. King, M.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilisation, relinquishes the appointment of adjutant, 2nd Battalion, and tho temporary rank oE captain. Second Lieutenant W. M. Gottroll, quartermaster, Auckland Detachment, A Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, is granted thetem- . poiary rank of captain. Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) G. A. Tuck, M.0., returning to New Zealand for demobilisation, relinquishes tho appointment o: adjutant, 2nd Battalion, but retains the tomporary rank of captain. CANTERBURY REGIMENT. Captain J. G. C. Wales, M.C., on reorganisation due' to demobilisation, relinquishes tho appointment of Brigade Transport Officer, 2nd New Zealand Infantry Brigade. Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) W. R. Lascelles, returning to Now Zealand for demobilisation, relinquishes the appointment of adjutant, Canterbury Detachment, "A Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, but retains the temporary rank of captain. Captain H. M. Foster to bo adjutant, Canterbury Detaohment. A Group, NZEF Sling, -rice Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) V. R. Lascolles. returning to New Zealand for demobilisation Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) R N Gray, M.C., M.M., relinquishes tho appointment of O.C. Instructors' School, Hornchuroh, under the N.Z.E.F. Education Department, and tho tomporary rank of captain. Lieutenant H. Henderson to be O.C Instructors' School, Hornchurch, under the. N.Z.E.F. Education Department, vice Lieutenant R. .N. Gray, M.C., M.M., relinquished tho appointment, and is granted the temporary rank of captain whilst so employed. The under-mentioned to be lieutenants: Second Lieutenants K. W. Lowo and S G. Brister, M.M. Sergeant R. J. Glen to be second lieutenant. S.Q.M.S. C. Brown, D.C.M., retransforred from the R.A.F., is taken on tho strength of the N.Z.E.F. in the rank of second lieutenant. Second Lieutenant R. C. Beveridge, quartermaster, Canterbury Detachment A Group, N.Z.E.F., Sling, is granted the temporary rank of captain. Captain L. J. Gibbe, M.C, is granted the temporary rank of major whilst holding the appointment of O.C, New Zealand Graves Registration Unit, i .Second Lieutenant (Temporary Captain) A. Plumley relinquishes the temporary rank of captain on ceasing , to hold the appointment of adjutant, Isolation Camp !A Group, Larkhill. WELLINGTON REGIMENT. Captain (Temporary Major) J. R. Cade M.C., to be second in command, D Grouti N.Z.E.F., Sutton. Cbldfield. Second Lieutenant C. B. Lepper, M.C. M.M., to be lieutenant. '' Troopr T. E. Yalintine, retransferred from the R.A.F., is taken on the strength of the N.Z.E.F. in the rank of second lieutenant. The under-mentioned are.granted the temporary rank of captain:— Lieutenant R. J. Thompson, relinquished the appointment. Second Lieutenant P. R. Nosoda is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant, whilst holding the appointment of transport officer, Administrative Headquarters Ts.Z.E.F. RIFLE BRIGADE. Major A. 'H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilisation, relinquishes the appointment of second in command, N.Z.R.8., Reserve Depot. Major M. H. R. Jones, M.C, to be second in command, N.Z.R.8., Reserve Depot, -vice Major A. H. Carrington, N.Z.S.C., returning to New Zealand for demobilisation. Lieutenant F. W. Parry to bo Quartermaster, N.Z.R.8., Reserve Depot, vice Capt:iin H , . Eastgate, M.8.E., relinquished the appointment, and is granted the temporary rUnk of captain whilst so employed. Cobb, M.C, is granted the tomporary rank of captain, -vies Captain T. M'Carroll, and relinquishes the temporary rank on Captain T. M'Carroll rejoining the souadron. INFANTRY SECTION. Major W. L K.
