STRANDED NEW ZEALANDERS
ANOTHER APPEAL. GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE INADEQUATE. Pi*** Association—By Telegraph-Copyright. _ . SYDNEY, June 22. (Eeceived June 22, at 5.5 p.m.) Stranded New Zealanders have cabled to Sir James Allen that the Moeraki is definitely held up, and the 'outlook is desperate. They-strongly urge the issue of immediate instructions to overseas, ships, such as _ the Armagh, Shropshire ajid others, "which are due, to*relieve the situation. The number stranded is over 600, and is daily increasing. Many are at starvation point, the Government assistance being inadequate.
