PROBATIONER NURSES IN THE HOSPITAL.

Sib,—With roferenoe to the letters -which lately in your paper about the conditions under -which the probationer nurses of Dune din Hospital are working we wish simply to state it is the general opinion of the . nurses that the 'public is under a misapprehension as to the sufficiency of food served in-the Nurses' Home, iiere is always an abandance of plain, nourishing food, and the increase in weight in most of the nurses bears testimony to this statement. Certainly, we do find it hard to do our ward work satisfactorily when there is any overcrowding and lack of help, as very frequently occurs.
