REORGANISATION SCHEME. (Fbou Oub Own Cobbespondeot.) AUCKLAND, May '26. The need for radical ciianges in toe present form of administration and methods of operation of the banners' Union in the Auckland province is disclosed in a remit framed by the executive for submission to the annual Provincial Conference, which will be opened to-morrow. A scheme for organising the farmers into a strong union is outlined. The scheme of reorganisation, which it is suggested should be undertaken immediately by the incoming executive, is based on the following principles:—(l) That a graduated scale of subscriptions be adopted; (2) that the annual subscription be based on the unimproved value of the agricultural land owned by each member °? following s\jale:—los up to a value 2 .r£ ' and lO f for ever y subsequent &1000, with a maximum of £5; (3) that all subscriptions shall be collected through the medium of the various farmers' co-operative companies throughout the province, the method of collection from their shareholders to be determined by the companies concerned; (4) all money so collected to be paid into a general fund to be known as thegeneral provincial fund of the New: Zealand Farmers' Union, Auckland province, and shall be administered by the Provincial Executive and expended by that body for : organising and consolidating the fanners of : ,'- the province and dominion into a strong union—(a) by the issue of a bi-monthly _ newspaper issued free to every member, (b) by the-circulation of useful educative and entertaining literature, (c) by such other means as may be found necessary to keep the members of the union in close with the union and with one another; (5) the_ various centres of sub-provincial executives and branches to be supplied from tie central fund with such sums as shall hereafter be agreed upon, and which shall be based on the membership. • .
