ESTABUSHMENT OF A-NEW CHAIR.

At a meeting of the Board of Governors of Canterbury College it was decided ta establish a Chair of Education, the professor . appointed to be rector of the college. A special committee was appointed to carry out the decision -of the board as far as possible locally.
