AMUSEMENTS.
" Bound in. Maroooa," a fil™ in -which the famous acrobatic actor, Douglas Fairbanks, takes the leading part, is the principal attraction in the programme now being shown at the Empire Theatre. A good supporting programme is also shown.
The popularity of Everybody's Theatre as a place of call for .entertaining purposes remains unabaAsd. That . clever actress, Kitty Gordon, is seen to great advantage'in "Merely Players," and tie supporting pictures are interesting. " Cheating the Public" is th© chief aeration at_ tie Plaza' Theatre. As its title indicates, it deals with the crime of profiteering, but -there is also in it a strong note of romance, _ skilfully interwoven. The supporting pictures combine to malke up a good programme.
