KING'S ADMIRALTY MEDAL
AN AUCKLAND PRESENTATION.
(Pee United Pbess Association.) , A AUCKLAND, May 25. The Sink's Admiralty Medal awarded to Charles Glidden a member of the Aurora iiixpedition to the Antarctic, was formally presented to liim by the Hon. Mr Wilford «t the offices of the Federated Seamen's union. Mr Wilford stated that lie would say no more than quote the words of tho official records, which stated: " Now began a fight with death, which called forth qualities ot self denial, endurance, and comradeship worthy of the highest traditions of the' Polar , For these attributes possessed by biidden he had received this high honour
