The anmral report of the cormnitte©, to bo presented at the meeting of the Dunedin City Mission states that during this year of trial the missionary has had his full share of sorrow and anxiety, but -the committee repoices in the good health and strength vouchsafed to him and in -tie unconquerable optimism which enables him to go through his work steadily.'
