MOHDAT, MAHCH 17. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Breaking .an Entering.—James Williams and William James Duncan, two lads, were charged with bixiaking into the premises of Messrs MacDougall and Co. —Senior-ser-geant Murray asked for a remand till Wednesday to enable further inquiries to be made. Duncan was at present under the control of Mr Aselsen. —A remand was granted. Defence Act.—Harold . Mivor was charged with failing to attend drill.—Lieutenant M'Crorie eaid the defendant had claimed that he was not medically fit. They had had him examined by a Medical Board, which bad declared him fit.—His Worship convicted and discharged tho defendant, advising him to attend regularly in future. Maintenance.—Thomas L. Haggerty, charged with disobeying an order, waa sentenced to three months' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as he paid'.£l 10s a week. Alleged Indecent Act. —Hugh.
