M. CLEMENGEAU'B ASSAILANT. SENTENCED TO DELATE. , PARIS, March 15. (Received March 16, at 5.5 p.m.) Cottin has been sentenced to death for shooting at M. Clemenceau, the French Prime Minister.—A. and N.Z. Cable. ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION. TROTSKY THE VICTIM. LONDON, March 14. • (Received March 16, at 5.5 p.m.) The Red Guard attempted to assassinate M. Trotsky in a railway carriage at Vitebsk, on the Petrograd railway. A bullet pierced M. Trotsky's body, but he not injured. Two members of his staff were, however, hit.—A. and N.Z. Cable. GERMANY AND LOAN MONEY. PARIS, March 14. It is expected that the financial embargo refusing loans to Germany will shortly be lifted.—A. and N.Z. Cable. CZECHO-SLOYAKS' COMMISSION. PARIS, March 13.
