THE HENLEY REGATTA.

LONDON, January 25. At a meeting of the University and other rowing clubs in London it was decided to revive Henley regatta in July. In response to a request on behalf'of the overseas troops it was decided to include in the programme ah "Inchcape" eight-oar race for dominion troops. Australia, Canada, and New Zealand have agreed to enter in this race.

New Zealand won the chief events at the Thames regatta during 1918.

YACHTING CONTESTS,

AUSTRALIANS EAGER TO COMPETE.

LONDON, January 24. At a meeting of yachtsmen in London Sir. M. Marks, of Sydney, said Australian yachtsmen were anxious to compete in British races, and would send a boat in the biggest class or several smaller boats when the new racing rule is adopted —A. and N.Z. Cable.
