The following is the programme which the Hon. D. H. Gutbrie, Minister of Lands, has mapped out for himself for his visit to Otago and Southland next week, after hia arrival in Dunedin: —
Saturday, February L—Visit Taieri Plains by car. Deputations in evening. Sunday,- February 2. —Dunedin. Monday, February 3. —Leave Dunedin by south express 8.30 a.m. for Balclutha, with Mr Malcolm; M.P. Tuesday, February 4. —In Balclntha and district Arrive Gore in evening by motor. Wednesday, February s.—At Gore. Visit Ardlussa Estate and Waralahi, and return to Gore.
Thursday, February 6. —At Gore. Visit Mataura in forenoon. Gore Show in afternoon. Smoke concert in evening. Friday, February 7. —Leave Gore by motor and visit Knowsley 'Park,' Brydone, Stalker Settlement, Lamont Estate. Arrive Invercargill in evening. Saturday, February B.—At InverargiH. Visit Seaward Moss concerning drainage matters and inspect reclamation works, Invercargill. Sunday, February 9.—At Invercargill. ' Monday, February 1C. —At loveroargill. Visit Forest Hill in morning,, returning to Invercargill via Otautau and Riverton. Tuesday, February 11.—At Invercargill. Deputations in forenoon. Show in afternoon.
Wednesday, February 12. —Leave Invercargill for Queenstown via Dipton, arriving Queenstown 6.55 p.m. Thursday, February 13. —At Queenstown. Friday, February 14. —Leave Queenstown for Cromwell. Visit Mount Pisa.
Saturday, February 15.—Leave Cromwell for Teviot via Clyde and Alexandra. Stay at Roxburgh. Sunday, February 16. —Leave Roxburgh for Lawrence.
Monday, February 17.—Leave Lawrence 3.15 p.m. for Milton by train. Meet Bruce County Council in evening. Tuesday, February 18.—Leave Milton 7 a.m. by car. Join train for Middlemarch at Wingatui at 8.27 a.m. ' Visit Gladbrook Station, and return to Dunedin same day. Wednesday, February 19.—Leave Dunedin for Waimate and Timaru.
Thursday, February 20.—Leave Timaru by car for Temuka and Ashburton, joining north express at Ashburton for Lyttelton. Friday, February 21. —Reach "Wellington.
