Cgle, of Waitara, bound from Marokopa to Waitara, was approaching Waitara between 5 and 6 pjn., when she struck the bar. She turned turtle and drifted, on. to a reef. Captain -'Roberts is missing, and the engineer, named Jamieson, is believed to be entombed. Two passengers, one the son of the proprietor, and another youth named Jury, got ashore- in a boat -with George Millar, the third member of the crew. * An attempt made at low tide resulted in thi> release of the engineer. There was a fair sea running at the time of the disaster., She_ was a vessel of about 20 tons, and carried a load of wool and a heavy deck cargo.
