The total loans to be redeemed within the next 10 years amounted to £200,000,000, added to which there wotdd be £190,000,000 of war loans floated in Australia to be redeemed in the same period. _ He proposed that the States should give the commonwealth full control of all State and local, government .borrowings for the three years ending in 1921.
