PRINCESS THEATRE

Flourishing business is being done at present at the Princess Theatre, where a varied entertainment of distinctive merit throughout is being offered to the public. The Mammoth Minstrels, who supply the whole of tho first part, are a highly talented body of entertainers, and their performance of song, story, and dance goes with a merry swing from start to finish. Leonard Nelson, known of old to Dunedin vaudeville patrons, is again figuring on the bill, and his various numbers, ragtime and otherwise, are received with the warmest applause, encores being in strong demand. Several other performers are included in the bill, lending to it the variety that is a primary factor in all good vaudeville entertainments. The samo company will appear again this evening. CAPPELLI COMING. The Fullers'have had the enterprise to secure Cappelli for vaudeville, and the great Italian tenor, who created such a sensation on his first appearance here with the Gonsalez Company, will make his bow at the Princess Theatre on Monday evening. This is an engagement that takes precedence of any other the firm has made, and here, as in the north, their enterprise will no doubt be rewarded by phenomenal business. The tenor's season is brief, and patrons are advised to book.
