£Peb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 22. Jean Hamilton, a nurse at the Avondale (Auckland) Mental Hospital, was thrown from a horse and sustained fracture of the skull. She died in the general hospital. HAMILTON, January 22. At the inquest on Charles James Reid, postal messenger at Frankton Junction, a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by being accidentally run over by a locomotive engine in the railway yard while in the execution of his duty.
