ALLAN.—On January 21 (accidentally drowned at Waiwera), John Arthur, beloved eldest son of John M. and Helen Allan, Schoolhousc, Tokoiti; aged 16 years. Deeply mourned. Private interment.—Hope and Kinaston, undertakers. CORMACK.—On January 22, at Pahiatua, David A., sixth son of David and Catherine Cormaek, Waverly, late of Roxburgh, and brother of J. "Cormack, Roxburgh; aged 38 years. R.I.P.

HAILES.—OiI January 22, 1919, at "Chartlea Park/' Balfour, Walter Mary, the beloved husband of Arabella J. Hailes; in his sixty-seventh year. Deeply mourned.
