Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under: — SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22.

Por India, Colombo, Egypt, and the East (to oonnect with s.s. Dorset at Wellington) at 8 p.m., late fees at Railway Station on December 23, at 7.55 a.m. MONDAY, DECEMBER 23.

For Australian States, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlement, Egypt, South Africa, and the East, per s.s. Waitomo. (Steamer sails on or about December 23).

Prom December 17 to January 11, 1919, mails will bo despatched daily by the Relief Express Train, leaving Dunedin for Christchurch at 11.15 a.m. North Island mails will connect with the ferry steamer at Lyttelton on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tho mails will close at this office at 9.30 a.m. I>ate-leo letters 10 a.m. No late-fee letters can be posted at the Railway Station for the Relief Express. Prom December 19 to January 9 inclusive daily mails will bo despatched to Hokitika, Greymouth, Westport, and Raefton. Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship.
