A meeting of cotton spinners at Man>chester unanimously approved the settlement of the dispute arranged by Mr Lloyd George. The operatives receive an advance of 50 per cent, on the standard piece price list, which is about 10 per cent, below their full claim but is more than what the employers offered originally —A and N.Z. and Reuter.
