At the Supreme Court Ernest Henry Mackay, who had pleaded guilty to bigamy at Christchurch, was sentenced to reformative treatment for a period not exceeding two years', Ernest William Groves was sentenced to throe years' reformative treatment: Frederick James Blanclford Bennett, for theft of money, to two years' reformative treatment; Phillip Trevor Liddy, for forgery and uttering in connection with the wrongful use of a soldier's railway pass, was admitted to probation for 12 months.
