Fire Brigade except three, who were absent from tho meeting, decided to resign, alleging that ' tho Five Board had put into commission an unreliable motor hose reel, and had put tho blamo for its defects on the superintenda ent, who was nob responsible for its pur>t chase. The superintendent resigned at the i- last meeting of the board. o
