BLANCHARD. —On September 7, 1918, killed in action " Somewhere in France," Private Alfred (Dally) Blanchard (32nd Reinforcements), sixth son of Anthony and Mary Ann Blanchard, Kyeburn Diggings; aged 39 years. COOPER.—On September 9, 1918, killed in action " Somewhere in France," Rifleman Andrew Winnick Cooper, beloved husband of Sarah Cooper (England), and beloved son of Mrs John Cooper (Bannockburn, Otago); aged 25 years. He did his duty. M'DONALD. —On August 30, killed in action " Somewhere in France," 64-101 — Private (Don) Donald H. M'Donald, dearly beloved youngest son of Angus and Margaret M'Donald, Waimate; aged 30 years.
