J. he I\ew Zealand Union is not satisfied with tho inquiry held by the Wellington Union into tho circumstances of the match j'j Auckland > contending that the inquiry did not go deep enough. A resolution was passed ■ calling on the local union to complete the inquiry, and requesting the Auckland Union also to so into the matter _ A' letter from the Wellington Union 'asking why no exception was taken to playing under the amended rules while two of the present members of the New Zealand Union were Auckland representatives on it gave considerable umbrage, as it was alleged that tho inference was that tho<=e two had been dropped by the Auckland Union, for which they were delegates and in consequence had taken their presentstand This they denied. The letter wa* merely received.
