SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.

The iMorth-East Baptist Sunday School anniversary is well named the children's day, as it is usually made memorable to the children, who are placed on a raised platform and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The children sang suitable hymns on Sunday last in such a mainicr that there is to be a repetition on Sunday next. Tho Rev. S. Morris presided at the services of tho day, which were well attended. The children's address was on the compass, helpful lessons being drawn from the use of this instrument.. The sermon was based on Mark be. 36: "He took a little child and set him in the midst-." At the afternoon service tho lowlv flower was the subject rhoson, and in the evening, when the church was well filled in spite of the rain, Mr Morris preached froi.i Isaiah xxxix, 4: "What have they seen in thy house."
