In replying to a deputation from the Board of Governors of Wellington College and the Girls' High School regorging- the question, of increased accommodation, the Minister of Education said that unless a largely increased sum was granted for buildings and educational purposes it would be impossible for him to meet the demands being made throughout; til© dominion. Apart from the moneys asked for in connection with primary and technical schools buildings, approximately £108,000 would be required if the whole of the applications for additions to existing secondary schools and the establishment of new high, schools were approved.
