There were 382 killed and many badly injured in the explosion at the Woellers-doi-f ammunition factory, near Vienna. ONLY EIGHT LIVES SAVED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. BERNE, September 22. (Received Sept. 23, at 7.45 p.m.) Vienna advices state that only eight out of several hundred workmen were saved from the explosion at the munition factory at Ollersdorf; the others were incinerated. AUSTRIAN REGIMENT'S MUTINY. COPENHAGEN, September 22. An Austrian regiment at Kovno {?) mutinied and refused to charge against the Franco-British, front. They hoisted the red flag instead. Two other regiments joined them. ° STRIKES AND FOOD RIOTS. TROUBLE AT SALZBURG. AMSTERDAM, September 22. Strikes and food riots have broken out at Salzburg (Upper Austria). The strikers plundered the army commissariat, and the leading hotels and provision shops, and destroyed much property. They smashed in the doors of the Governor's paJacc, on which the gendarmes inside fired and killed several of them. Government arid municipal employees joined the strikers, and the garrison proved either powerless or unwilling to restore order.
