M.R MACE'S MEETINGS

Tlio first of a series, of meetings to be held in Dunedin and suburbs by Mr Alfred Mace was held in tho Gospel Hall, Moray place, on Sunday afternoon, when there was a good attendance. Beading from the Gospel of John, first chapter, from tho 2Mh verse, and second chapter end the first few verses' tie speaker dealt with tho subject tionally, and in this connection stated that Matthew and John present truths dispensa/tionally. The three days mentioned in tho chapters read wero typical of different dispensations. The first of the present dispensation, the church period; the second, of the future period, when the Jewish remnant shall be taiken up; and tho third, of the coming reunion of Jehovah with Israel. In expounding these truths many beautiful thoughts were brought out by the speaker, who exhorted his hearers to get to know the Lord Jesns Himself. Too many Christians of the present day looked upon the Gospel as a fire insnrance. In the evening Mr Mace gave a Gospel address in tho Choral Hall Moray pla-cc.
