TO TOE EDITOR. Sin,—Some of your rsaders wish to know whether Mr Seurr, Mayor of St. Kilda, had any interest monetarily in the Ormrod case. Tho enclosed speais for itself.—l am, W. H. PERSY. 22 Maitland street, September 20. [The enclosures consist of a statement of claim, signed by Mr C. N. Scurr, as solicitor for tho plaintiff, in the case brought by the Otago General Labourers' Union against Mr Perry for recovery of contributions; and a receipt by Mr Scurr. as solicitor for the union, of payments, by Messrs Ormrod, Oumberbeach, Hcssack."
