MOSGIEL CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY.
The second annual meeting of the Mosgiel Dairy Factory Company was held on Thursday evening, Mr William Blaekie presiding. The annual report, which was adopted, stated that the output of cheese for the period under review had, been almost 92 tons. The net profit was £1176 17s Id. which, with the balance brought forward from last year, left a balance of £1220 14s 3d, which the directors recommended be destributed as follows:—Bonus of 3d per It on butter fat, £972 12s 9d: write offdepreciation on plant £100 7s 9d, 5 pei cent, depreciation on buildings £98 10s; and carry forward £19 3s 9d. Messrs William Blaekie, John Allan, Johr Bradbury, William L. Craig, and W. G Taylor were re-elected directors, and Mi John Logan was re-elected auditor. A proposal to make a start with a pig i gery in conjunction with the factory was descussed, and left with the directors.
