STREET RIOTS IN CALCUTTA
MOHAMMEDANS INFLAMED. MILITARY FIRE ON TUB MOB. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Tho Times. CALCUTTA, September 19. (Received Sept. 20, at 7.30 p.m.) A Mohammedan agitation, the outcome of a supposed insult to Islam published in the English journals, resulted in street riots. Troops and the police were called out, and the troops fired on the mob, killing one and wounding several. The military are still guarding the streets. .
