Young and old of both sexes should find entertainment and excitement at the sports gaJa at Carisbrook, commencing at 2.15 to-day. The athletic contests are varied and the issues, where the best elements in all tne sports are matched against other, speculatively interesting. A picked Pirates-University combination against an Otago represeatative team in a one-hour Kugby contest cannot fail to bo excitingand the other matches, including the running events, promise to bo equally keen and enjoyable, -pie St. Kilda Band will provide music school bands assisting; and creature comforts, including soft drinks, 2? ii- procurable.
