"THE BABES IN THE WOODS."

" The Babes in tho Woods," tho worldfamed William Fox photo fantasy, will bo shown at • the King s Theatre to-morrow, commencing at the matinee, and is an adaptation of the famous fairy story. It is a story that is old hi origin but always new in tho teiling, and in this wonderful picture each detail stands out in all tho beauty modern photography has given us. Both old and young will rejoice again to see tho lovely dances of tho fairies in tho woods. 'I'llink of that gingerbread houso of the witch—how often in memory havo we pictured that house where, when the children appear and break off some of tho confections, tho witch murmurs "Nibble, nibble, little mouse, who's nibbling at my little house?" Here's' the house all built of gingerbread, inside and out. And tho bad prince who tries to catch the little ohildren, and who would have succeeded had not the good fairy helped them to escape on the back of the big white swans. All these things are shown in tho picture, and shown with all the ai-tistic effects for which Fox pictures are noted. "Tho Babes in the Woods" was made in California, in the beautiful Red Wood Forests, near San Jose, and the finished picture cost 300,000 dollars. Matinees aro to bo held oa.ily during' the whole of next week, when arrangements are being made for the school children to attend.
