A PROSPERING INDUSTRY. (Per United Pbess Association.) WELINGTON, Juno 13. At the National Beekeepers' Association Conferonco tho Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald said that tho beekeepers had an offer from a certain firm at a remunerative figuro for all tho honey that could bo produced for export. The arrangements would remain in force during the period of tho war and for somo considerable time afterwards. Tho industry nevar looked 'brighter. Tho presidont (Mr Barker) advocated tho compulsory registration of beekeepers.
