Polly of the Circus" attracted large audiences at the Octagon and King Edward rheaires last evening, when once again the superb acting of Miss Mae Marsh was thoroughly 'enjoyqd. The various passages m this very fine photo-play were watched with interest, those present appreciating to the full the splendid entertainment provided.
The now programme at tho Plaza Theatre to-dav will include the five-act Metro drama. The Dawn of Love," a striking romance of daring _ and desperate adventure in connection with a band of modern smugglers. Mabel Taliaferro, whose consistently good work is gaining great popularity, is seen in a splendid role that suits her admirably. For a large part of the "picture she is °n lr l d P ictures q u ely in a costume that has all the convenience of boy's clothes, with feminine grace added Hie supporting pictures consist of "Tlie Girl and the Game" serial, a Gazette, and a comedy. The public is bestowing a generous measure of ' patronage on the Empire Theatre, where the current programme is evoking unstinted approval. Pauline Frederick appears in the feature film, "Double Crossed," which is & gripping story of love, intrigue, and politics.
