I respectfully submit, however, that wo as citizens have not elected our city fathers for the purpose of viewing them through, iron .bars prancing and promenading in privileged places, where others are excluded whoso company would bo more congenial to those departing on what is perhaps a fatal errand. Cr Bradley, wo all know, has a heart as big as a iion, but bis tact and Ronoral discretion are very often found wanting, a.nd I venture to suggest that ho has a K-rcat deal to bo thankful tor in that ho was not, on tho occasion of tho departure of tho hist draft, called to account for his intemperate language. As ono who hae done all in my power in tho interests of n-oruitincr and generally in tho interests of oiir crallant soldiers and Uio dependents, I submit that Cr Bradley is at tho very least allowing his dignity of office to bolt with his bettor Judgment.—l am, etc., Dtrnodin, May 28.
