All the work took place on the middle grass, except what little schooling took place. Cervulus commenced Y going over the schooling hurdles, and shaped well, apart from displaying a tendency to get m the air. Ardenvohr worked tw.co round, and Mohawk also got through useful work. Rorke's Drift was finishing better than Tin Soldier at tho end of six furlongs in Imin 21 4-ssec, and appears to have been smartened up by his gallop on Saturday morning. Thaddeua and Night Alarm galloped six furlongs in lmin 21 3-Ssec. and Kilboyne and Achilleus reeled' off half a miie in 50 2-seec. Kiibrogan and Samiel cast six furlongs behind in lmin 18 3-ssec. .tsalboa went steadily over a couple of cir- , cults, and seemed to improve as he went on. iurehaua strode out nioely in useful work; and from a middling start Buller and Burrangong worked half-a mile in 53sec. Others out doing useful work included Sedd-el-Balir. Gknshme, Wild Pilgrim, John ReiUy, Polo! nius, Plaoid, Marsa, Don. Pacifico, Multiplication, Linden, Borodino, the Heroism gelding J? p. Christie's etable, Achilleus, Hot Air. Captain Fre-nch. Luigi gave a pleasing display over the schooling fenoes, going twice round, but nursing the post and rails in circuit. John Reilly displayed a slight tendency to Wocd from the nostrils after working. .Golden King has thrown og a good deal of the lameness he displayed on Saturday, put etui walks a bit tenderly with his near for© leg. Zarkoma and Sylva were schooled over the fenoes at Wingatui on Saturday afternoon, and gave a satisfactory display. It is, however, somewhat easy country on that part of the oourse. Visiting horses claiming engagement at tho meeting are arriving daily.
