Mr Andrew Wedderspoon, a carpenter, aged 83 years, and an old identity belonging to Mosgicl, fell off 4 ladder on Friday and one of the bones in his spine was broken. The dangerous practice of boarding and alighting from tramcars while they are in mqtion was responsible for a serious accident about 6 o clock last evening. A single man named John Christie, years of age who has been boarding at the GlasgSw Restaurant, and who attempted to leave a travelling car near the George street end of the Octagon, was knocked violently to the ground, the fall resulting in very serious injury to the head.
