(Received May 26. at 5.5 p.m.) An East Africa official states : Direct communication has been established between Colonel Edwards and Colonel Northey's columns. Colonel Edwards's forco lias occupied Nammga, which has hitherto been the German headquarters. The enemy are retiring in a south-westerly direction of Mahua. We ongaged the main body of the enemy between Nanunpa and Mahua, arid drovo them westwards.
