' AUCKLAND, May 24. .A case arising out of the reoent seizor© Ofc SJ&ndford's trawlers Countess and Muriel . to-day, after & hearing occupying several days. The respective masters oharged with trawling within the prohibited limits of Hauraki Gulf, and with not Carrying trawling lights. The cases ■weti dismissed, the magistrate saying that there was great doubt as to the position of the vessels. It was shown in evidence that the. .inspector had pointed out various landmarks which a witness for the defence asserted •were not those made by him.
