AMERICAN FORCES IN FRANCE.
WILL SOON EQUAL THE BRITISH. FIRST FIELD ARMY FORMED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. WASHINGTON, May 21 (Received May 23, at 1 a.m.) The United Press states that, owing to tile speeding up 0 f the transportation of United States troops to France, their number may soon equal the British forces facing the Germans. The announcement ie made that the first American field army in France has been formed. Two hundred thousand men have been divided into two corps of three divisions. 1
