Tho annual report states tliat tho Women's Patriot io Association still 1 despatches a regular supply of comforts to the New Zealand soldiers on aotiv-o service on tho different fronts—Franoe, Egypt, anrl Mesopotamia. The parcels scut contain extra, food comforts, and are very greatly appreciated by our men. Tho idea of the scheme is " New Zealand parcels for Now Zealand soldiers from New Zealand women." In addition, large supplies of shirts, undershirts, etc., are sent Home to the Women's (Jommitteo of the New Zealand Wax Contingent Association, and are of great benefit to our men on furlough. Every outgoing transport has a supply of comforts put on board for uee on the voyage. Returned men are also catered for in the way of necessary clothing, and while in hospital members of the _ association visit them, and extra food dainties are provided for the invalids by the workers of the association. The association also works in conjunction with tho Soldiers' Welfare Committee, and tho members do what they can to assist the wives and children erf the men on active service. Total number of adult members, 310; total number of junior members, 350.
