The Skippers Sluicing Company reports a re tarn of 440z. The following cablegram has been sent to the head office of the Waihi Companv, London: — No. 10 level, north section, Em. pare lode: In the Cow south-east crosscut the east dnve has been extended 19ft Prom 31ft to 70ft east of the Cow orosscut the average vaJuo is 9s 5d per ton. The west drive has been extended 13ft. From 34ft to 47rt west of the Cow crosscut the average value is 19s 7<J per ton." The following has been cabled to the head office, in London, of the Waihi Grand Junction Company"We are crushing 285 tons a day The extraction is £1 12s a ton In Wo. 8 level, Empire footwall lode, the west drive has been advanced to 353 ft The'average value for a width of sft is 12s 6d a ton. No. 7 level—Emuiro intermediate level, 50ft above No. 7 level, from l\o. 16 rise: The east drive from the rise has been advanced to 25ft. The average value for a width of 41in is £3 7s 8d a ton.
