ACCIDENTS.
(P» Unitbd Pvj>Bß Assocunoir.) HASTINGS, May 21. A motor cycle and side-car collided with a trap near Fernhill last night. Mr R B. Ixmgworthy, of the Hutt, representing the Lister Shearing Machine Company, wsa injured, and his condition last night was causing grave anxiety. Mr C. Simbba, who was driving tho motor cycle, was not seriously hurt. A 51 years of age, named David Maxwell, a resident of Ravensbourne, received a fracture of the loft thigh while working on the wharf yesterday. Apparently ho fell down tho hold of the vemet ho was working on. His injuries are not such as to cause alarm.
