Bartholomew, S.M., opened uest at Port Chalmers yesterday on the body of John Robert Sansom, of George street, a married man, 39 years ol age, ™ had a family of three children. About 6 o'clock on Sunday evening H was reported to the police that Sansom had been missing from his home since Saturday evening. _0n that afternoon Sansom, who was a boilermaker in the employ of Messrs • u e n?? rl <lnd Cook, was working along . Thomas Short and James Robertson, i!- i. engineer, on the trawler Waitaagi, which was moored at the Bowen pier wharf. The three men worked till about 5 o'clock, when the deceased was seen to leave the boat. At 6.15 ho was seen to return to tj l6 Waitangi by a who was stationed at a liosptial ship, and whom he had to pass to get to the trawler. Tliere was nobody on the vessel at the time. Sansom was never seen again.
