MISS SINNOTTE'S ENTERTAINMENT.

Tho concert promoted by Mis 6 Maisio Sinnotte drew a very satisfactory attendance to the King's Theatre on Saturday night, and tho Soldiers' Memorial Club, •which is to receive a share ot tho proceeds, should benefit accordingly. The feature of the entertainment was tho danoing of juveniles trained by Miss tjii)notte, who has herself gained experience as an artist in Sydney theatres and on tours through New Zealand. In view of tho fact that none of tho performers had benefited by her teaching for longer than 10 weeks, tho gracoiul and attractive dancing was highly creditable alike to tcacher and taught. A couplo of concerted musical numbers, entitled "Sweetheart" and " Orange Sue," rendered by a party, several vocal solos, and a specially pleasing recitation, " When Grandma Danced the Minuet," by Baby Lowe, supplemented tho danamg. Encores were tho rule rather than the exception, and chocolate favours for the performers were in superabundance While tho programme on the Whole was well received, the audience singled out for special appreciation tho dance " Passing of Salome," by Miss S. Rail die; Baby Taylor's pretty little dance, " Fancy " ; Miss M. M'Lauohlan's song and dance, " Shadow Man" ; Miss M. iSinnotte's song li Every Little While"; and the danco "Winter," performed by Misses A. Finnerty, 0. Bannantyne, R. Robertson. Z. M'Connor", D. Gallant!, L. Kelly, and M. M'Lauchlan. The other items comprising an enjoyable programme were —a waltz clog by Misses E. Sinnotte and I. Driscoll-Shaw; song and danoe, " Oh, Johnnie," Miss E. Sinnotte; Highland dance and Irish jig, Miss Jean Riddle; ballet dancc. Miss B. M'Combe; song, " Long, Long Way from Home," Miss M. Smnotto; Highland fling, Miss R. Robertson ; song and danoe, " Lonesome Baby," Misses E. Sinnotte and I. Driscoll-Shaw; song and dance, " Dixio Land," Miss E. Sinnotte; song and danco. "Eyo on You," Miss M. M'Lauchian; sailor's hornpipe. Miss I. Driscoll-Shaw; and ballet dance, Misses B. M'Gombe and I. Taylor. Miss M. Sinnotte, assisted by Mr J. S. Brown, provided tho accompaniments, and the limelight effects, by Mr W. E. Simpson, added materially to tho attractiveness of the entertainment. Piper Clarke furnished the bagpipe music for the highland dances. During an interval Miss Sinnotte was the recipient of a writing case as a mark of appreciation from her pupils.
