Evidently misunderstanding tho statement made recently by tho Minister of Public Works to tho effect that about 300 Jugoslavs were to bo employed on the northern railways, "Workman" writes complaining of the introduction into tho oountry by t.ho Government of Jugoslavs, representing cheap labour, anticipates that the Government will next bo introducing Chineso. and urges tho workers of tho dominion to arise and stop it." Thp writer urges upon the Governmont the necessity for taking steps to bring down tho ooett of Irving.
